When the nerve of a tooth is disturbed and cannot recover on its own, the tooth or the nerve must be removed. To save the tooth, we perform a root canal.

 

A root canal involves removing the nerve within the tooth and placing a filling within the tooth. It is a common procedure that should not be painful.
